
The results of the selection process for members of the Anti-Corruption Commission’s working groups have been announced
In order to strengthen public participation and institutional partnership in the activities of the Commission on Combating Corruption of the Republic of Azerbaijan (hereinafter – the Commission), a public call for applications was announced on February 15, 2025, on the official website of the Commission, in accordance with Article 2.1 of its Rules of Procedure. The competition invited applications from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), media representatives, private sector stakeholders, and independent experts.
The application period ended on March 31, 2025, during which the Commission’s Secretariat received applications from 18 NGOs and 3 independent experts.
Applications were evaluated by the Commission’s Secretariat based on the criteria set out in Article 2.2 of the Rules of Procedure – including experience, education, ability to conduct legal and social research, initiative, teamwork skills, critical thinking, and other relevant factors.
As a result of the evaluation, the applications of the 8 NGOs and 3 independent experts listed below were positively assessed, and it was decided to include them in the relevant working groups of the Commission:
