DECISION

OF THE COMMISSION ON COMBATING CORRUPTION
OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN

The Commission on Combating Corruption of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with Articles 5, 9, 10, and 13 of the “Regulations on the Commission on Combating Corruption of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” approved by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 906-IIQ dated May 3, 2005, has decided the following based on the issues discussed at its meeting held on February 6, 2025:

  1. The speech of the Chairperson of the Commission on Combating Corruption of the Republic of Azerbaijan (hereinafter – the Commission) on the state of anti-corruption efforts and the tasks ahead shall be taken into account, and the necessary measures shall be taken to implement the provisions mentioned in the speech.

  2. The report on the impact of recent judicial and legal reforms on anti-corruption efforts shall be taken into account, and necessary measures shall be taken to enhance transparency in this area and eliminate circumstances conducive to corruption.

  3. The work carried out concerning the recommendations of international organizations specialized in anti-corruption shall be deemed satisfactory, and measures shall continue to be implemented towards fulfilling the recommendations of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) of the Council of Europe.

  4. The Regulations of the Commission on Combating Corruption of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall be approved (attached).

  5. The work plan of the Commission for the first half of 2025 shall be approved (attached).

  6. Information regarding the Commission's meeting held on February 6, 2025, shall be published in the media.

  7. The Secretariat of the Commission shall address the issues arising from this Decision.

  8. This Decision shall enter into force upon signature.
